Welcome to the SoLuna Mexican Folk Ballet web page. SoLuna is Kern County’s new performing dance company that combines classical ballet training and dance technique, professional stage presence and corporal dance movements, with traditional Mexican Folk dances, costumes, and music.

 

SoLuna Mexican Folk Ballet is a non-profit cultural organization that is committed to fostering its dance membership with the advantages for cross-cultural awareness, enrichment, and promotion, peer social support, cultural and ethnic pride, educational enhancement, community involvement, and access for opportunities to pursue higher education.
